Bristol Water Dept | On Monday, April 15, 2024, the Bristol Water and Sewer Department will continue their 2024 hydrant flushing season. The following areas may be affected: Karen Road, Moody Street, King Street, Carpenter Avenue, Jennifer Road, Morris Avenue, Concetta Lane, Regency Court, Lynn Road, Vantana Road, Spark Avenue, Bristol Eastern High School, Stonecrest Drive, Castle Road, Madison Drive, Gayle Drive, Topview Terrace, Garfield Road, Cobble Hill, West Washington Street, Posa Drive, Artisan Street, and some of the surrounding areas.



Public Works | The City of Bristol announces the reconstruction of the Jerome Avenue Bridge over Freeman Hill Brook. Jerome Avenue Bridge will be closed for the duration of the project. Construction activities will begin April 8, 2024 with the project scheduled for completion by July of 2025. Detours are being put in place at the Jerome Avenue Bridge as they start construction. Road closures will begin April 8, 2024. Local access will be provided on either side of the bridge. Your cooperation in avoiding the area during the duration of the project is appreciated.
