Bristol police update on Wednesday’s shooting on Union Street and East Road

The Bristol Police Department issued an update on yesterday’s shooting incident which reads as follows:

On Wednesday, March 6, members of the Bristol Police Department Patrol and Detective Divisions responded to a reported shooting in the area of East Road and Union Street.

Officers located a male who had sustained several gunshot wounds. The male was transported to an area hospital.


A red Infiniti G37 bearing Connecticut registration BK77317 was sought by police. The vehicle was located shortly afterward.
