Broad Street closure involves ‘road rage’ shooting

A “road rage” shooting in the area of 395 Broad St., is being investigated by Bristol Police.

One male was shot and transported via LifeStar to a trauma center, according to Bristol Police. The second involved person remained on scene.

There is no threat to the public and this is an isolated incident.

The area of Broad Street between Emmett and Todd streets is expected to be closed through the afternoon due to the ongoing investigation.

Bristol Police arrived at the location early this morning, around 5:58 a.m., according the release.
