Broad St. reopened after road rage shooting in Bristol

Broad Street closed between Todd and Emmitt streets on Tuesday following the road rage shooting.

BRISTOL — The Bristol Police Department has finished the first phase of its investigation into a road rage shooting on Broad Street Tuesday morning. In doins so, it reopened Broad Street after it was shut down for 10 hours to allow police to collect evidence.

Lt. Eric Hanson with the Bristol Police Department said it reopened the road at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The road between Todd and Emmett streets was initially closed at 5:58 a.m. that morning due to an active criminal investigation. Motorists were asked to seek alternate routes.
