Community shows up big to clean up Bristol

Local firefighters participate in this year’s community cleanup in Bristol, which included work being done along a local river.

BRISTOL — There was strong participation in the annual Community Cleanup this Saturday despite the rain.

Erica Benoit, community engagement coordinator with the Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services Department, said that participation was higher than previous years.
