Adrienne Anne (Zarrella) Johnson May 9, 1935 - April 3, 2024
Beloved wife of Robert Earl Johnson Sr. departed to be with her Lord and Saviour on April 3, 2024. Adrienne was born in Waterbury to the late Joseph and Margaret (Guerrera) Zarrella on May 9, 1935. She graduated from Waterbury Catholic High School, hairdressing school, St. Mary's School of Nursing and Post University. She was a constant support and encourager of her husband's many entrepreneurial endeavors over the years including Suburban Sanitation, Curio Cafe, Curio Shoppes and Locktown Tavern. Adrienne was a faithful member of Community Bible Church in Terryville. She was an overachiever in every area of her life while raising six children with her loving husband. Her children finally made her retire at 85yrs old. She loved traveling the world which included medical mission trips to South America. She resided with her daughter Celeste (Johnson) Elsaghir and grandson Josiah Elsaghir.
She leaves two sons Robert E. Johnson Jr. (Shirley-deceased) and Joseph M. Johnson (Karen). Four daughters, Celeste (Johnson) Elsaghir, Melanie Stephenson (Scott), Kristin Guidone (David) and was predeceased by her beloved daughter Heather Brockway (Eric). She adored her precious time with her 12 grandchildren Jeremiah, Micah, Rachel, David, Josiah, Jacob, Stephanie, Esther, Benjamin, Joanna, Mystic and Savanna. 11 great grandchildren Caleb, Gabriel, Piper, Titus, Gideon, Jordan, Jael, Jackson, Phineas, Sophia and James.
Calling hours will be held April 13, 2024, from 10am-11:30am at Riverside Baptist Church 23 Main St, Terryville, with a service following.
