A presentation by Hartford Courant Capitol Bureau Chief, Christopher Keating, on the history and impact of the press in Connecticut . Mr. Keating will also present some of the memorable stories covered by the Courant throughout the years. Mr. Keating is a graduate of Columbia and Fordham Universities, has been listed four times by the Washington Post as one of the top political reporters in Connecticut, and is a recipient of the Master Reporter Award. There will also be an original copy of the first issue of the Bristol Press on display. Find out what the scoop was in 1870! Paint Night will be an easy, laid back atmosphere, perfect for beginners or even the experienced painter. All supplies will be provided except BYOB (or wine) and munchies.

Ginger from Bristol’s “The Studio” will provide step-by-step instructions to complete a winter painting.

Pre-registration required and due by Thursday, January 18, 2018.
