Halloween Costume Parade/Carnival/Trunk-or-Treat   (382,283 Views)

Halloween Costume Parade/Carnival/Trunk-or-Treat

October 20 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Bring the family out to Rockwell Park on Saturday, October 20th for the annual Halloween Costume Carnival and Parade. The event is completely free and is a fright-tastically good time. The carnival kicks off with a costume parade (1:45 pm line-up, 2 pm parade). The carnival runs 2-4 and includes free carnival games, arts & crafts, Big Daddy Racing, Photo Booth, and much more. Don’t miss out on our New Trunk or Treat event, which will run from 2:15 pm – 3:15 pm. Pre-registration is not required.

“Trunk-or-Treat” is a Halloween event where people gather and park their cars in a large parking lot. They open their trunks, or the backs of their vehicles, and decorate them. Then they pass out candy from their trunks. The event provides a safe family environment for trick or treater. Your “trunk” can be simple or elaborate…it’s up to you. If you are representing a business or organization, perhaps a theme in support of your business would be fun. Please be prepared to accommodate at least 2000 children.

For any questions, please contact Jess Caetano, Recreation Coordinator at jessiecaetano@bristolct.gov or 860-584-6160
