Tinseltown Inventor, The Most Beautiful Woman in the World, Hedy Lamarr  (7,354 Views)

Hedy Lamarr
March 14 @ 1:00 PM
Bristol Public Library
5 High Street, Bristol CT

Hedy Lamarr—Inventor of Wi–Fi? History At Play introduces you to a woman only Tinseltown could create. Watch, as this young Viennese refugee transforms to become The Most Beautiful Woman in the World, all the while, devoted to helping the Allies beat the NAZI forces in WWII—whether by selling war bonds for $50,000 a kiss, or inventing a secret spread spectrum communication system with composer George Antheil.

Performed live by Judith Kaloara of History at Play

Made possible in part by A Friends of the Bristol Public Library Memorial/Wall Donation.

No charge. RSVP at the library, on bristollib.com or by calling: (860) 584-7787 x 3.
