The Bristol Public Library and Manross Memorial Library are accepting returns of books and other borrowed library materials beginning Tuesday, May 5, 2020:

• Both Bristol Library buildings remain closed to the public;
• Return items to the book drop only;
• Returns are optional at this time;
• Library fines and late fees remain suspended until further notice;
• Returned items are quarantined and appear on library card records until
discharged;
• Donated items are not accepted at this time;
• Do not bring donated items to the library.

All Heart Library Grab & Go Service Available!  (56,149 Views)


As of Wednesday, May 13, 2020, Bristol residents will be able to request and pick up books, videos and other items from Bristol Public Library, through the All-Heart Library Grab & Go Service.

The Bristol library buildings remain closed to the public, but Bristol residents may request library materials by telephone or from the library’s catalog on Bristollib.com.

When items become available, patrons will be contacted by telephone to arrange an appointment for pickup at the library. Materials will only be available by appointment. Library staff will charge out, prepackage and label requested items. Items will then be placed in the main entry way for pick up.

The library will begin honoring requests from non-Bristol residents in the next phase of the library reopening process.

Patrons should wear mask and gloves during pick up. Please social distance! All library procedures are subject to change at the discretion of the Library Director as conditions merit. Thank you for your patience!
