We would like to annouce that on September 14th the Bristol Blues will be hosting our first annual Bristol Blues Golf Outing presented by Bristol Health! This event will take place at the Pequabuck Golf Course in Terryville, CT. Lunch and dinner will be provided, with Chick Fil A of Southington providing the lunch. The tournament will be a scramble set up which will include a raffle prize, longest drive and closest to the pin contest.

Each participant will receive 18 holes, a cart, lunch, dinner, two free drink tickets, a gift bag, and one ticket for the raffle prize.

The St. Gregory Community Outreach team is sponsoring a Tag Sale to benefit For Goodness Sake (FGS) on September 26, 2020 from 9 am to 2 pm at the St. Gregory CCD Parking Lot located at 1043 Stafford Ave. Bristol. All proceeds will go toward helping For Goodness Sake with operating expenses such as rent and gas for their truck. There will also be a 50/50 to help fund Welcome Baskets for the clients of FGS. Stop by, pick up an item or two and be generous with your donation amount. Masks must be worn and please observe other social distancing guidelines.

Silent Walk for Suicide Awareness

SATURDAY AT 3 PM – 5 PM

September is suicide awareness and prevention month. To honor the lives lost to suicide and support survivors, we will walk in silence. We will meet at the City Hall Courtyard and march on the sidewalks. When we return, individuals can share stories, thoughts, prayers, etc. Feel free to bring signs to hold since this is a silent march, and water to stay hydrated. Please wear a mask or respect everyones personal space. Check up on your loved ones, know the signs, and stop the stigma. Stay strong.
