Join us in the library at 3:00 PM to watch this special virtual puppet show on our big screen and make your own puppet! OR watch at home!
Watch John McDonough of Pumpernickel Puppets’ special virtual presentation of “Sir George and the Dragon!” Follow an adventurous princess as she journeys to Mystery Mountain to visit the Great Green Dragon. Along the way you’ll meet Zelda the babysitter, a silly bat, Sir George and his clumsy dog, and of course the lovable dragon.
Join us in the library at 3:00 PM to watch the show on our big screen and make your very own puppet. OR, receive the link to watch the show wherever you are, anytime 8AM - 8PM! Join us for an evening of crafting and conversation. Using recycled glass jars, paint and a little glitter, we will create a glass candle holder to take home for the holidays. Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night, painted in 1889, will be our inspiration. The painting is one of the most recognized in the history of Western culture. Discussion will include what makes the painting so special and some of the techniques you can use to create your special Starry Night jar. . . . Age 9+ and Adults. . . . This program is presented in-person at the library and you may register by visiting or calling 860-584-7790. Space is limited. . . .
