There are many points of contact between the United States and South Korea, but what about the "Other" Korea in the North? The media provides soundbytes about its secretive, authoritarian leadership, but what is North Korea and how do it's people really live? Learn about the history and current situation in the "Hermit Kingdom" with Yale Teaching Fellow, John Grisafi.
John Grisafi has worked as a journalist and military analyst covering North Korea, holds an MA in East Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Pennsylvania and a Korean Language Diploma from the Defense Language Institute. John is currently a Teaching Fellow and PhD candidate in Religious Studies at Yale University.
