An upbeat washboard band that gets audiences howling with fun and laughter!
The Hound Dogs play toe-tappin' swing standards and upbeat blues and jazz from the 20s, 30s and 40s as well as new tunes and funny originals in foot-stompin' washboard band style. Our shows include ukulele, guitar, kazoo, harmonica, mandolin, banjo, washboard, jug and spoons. Where else can you hear a solo played on spoons? "All for fun and fun for all!"

The City of Bristol and the United Way of West Central Connecticut have partnered with Foodshare to bring free food to those who live in Bristol and surrounding communities. FREE food boxes filled with fresh produce will be distributed on Thursday September 16 and 30 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. or until boxes run out at the Department of Public Works Garage at 95 Vincent P. Kelly Road. Follow signs from Middle Street to Cross Street, right onto Lake Avenue and right onto Vincent P. Kelly Road.

The American Clock & Watch Museum’s 5th annual Wine, Women & Watches event will be held on Thursday, September 16th at 7:00 p.m. Your event ticket includes a wine party package complete with a bottle of wine along with other items to help get the party started! The process is quite simple—purchase a ticket online, at the museum, or by phone and pick up your package at the museum by September 13th. All ticket holders will be emailed a special link before the event to access the livestream portion of the evening.
Raise a glass and help the museum raise some funds! Proceeds support the museum’s mission to celebrate the innovation and artistry of the clock and watch industries through unique collections that engage, educate and enrich our community.
