The School Readiness Council and the Bristol Early Childhood Alliance are hosting a free event at the New England Carousel Museum for families of children ages 3 and 4.
Visit the museum on June 23rd from 10 am to 1 pm to enjoy free activities: a carousel ride and raffles. All parents will receive the book, “Promoting Resilience for Now and Forever”

Please encourage anyone you know that has a Pre-K aged children to attend.

Richard DeLuca will explore how 400 years of transportation technology and policy have shaped our state. The talk will provide an overview of transportation developments from the turnpike movement of the 1800s through the Farmington Canal, steamboats, steam railroads, electric trolleys, the bicycle, and beyond.

An expert in transportation planning, Mr. DeLuca is also a distinguished author on the history of Connecticut transportation. Copies of his latest book will be available for purchase. Please register in advance: visit or call 860-584-7790.
