Children will learn to code using Google’s CS First program. We’ll explore the newest version of Scratch (3.0) to create sports themed projects. No previous coding experience is required, although children should be comfortable navigating a computer, mouse, and keyboard.

Registration is required for this program, which begins February 5 and runs for 8 weeks. The final session will be on March 26.

Join us for our annual celebration of all things engineering!
Participating children will team up with more than 20 ABB engineers to tackle challenges like the tumble tower, experimenting with Kibo robots and snap circuits, gooey gravity, building structures with blocks and ball tracks, designing paper airplanes, and using 3D printers and laser cutters to build and test a car- how fast will it go? For the tinkerers, the event will feature a “Take Apart” station for dismantling small appliances to learn how they work. The day provides an opportunity for children to power their imaginations as they enjoy discovering different types of engineering.

Included with museum studio admission, free for members.
