Does anyone have a rough estimate of moving costs from FL to CT, about a small 1 bedroom house worth of furniture that I would like movers to pack and move??? Not sure if it's @ $2000 or $6000, just need an idea.

Does anyone have the correct information as to what happen with the accident between a Bristol Police Officer and a mini van, Saturday on Burlington Avenue? I find it ironic how that didn't make it into the Bristol Press.

Re larcenies on Arlington st/Henderson
We have been victims at least 7 times over the past 14 years...loss approx $.10,000.00. We were not hit 2 days ago.A few months ago when I went to the police dept. for help to set up a sting they refused and only offered 30 day patrols.I would love to go to police board meeting with complaints but those things only work in numbers so we would need others to be involved...e.t. neighbors. The Mayor is head of board and maybe we could get him to listen. Let me know.I am willing to get this started if I have support! We are usually hit a few times a year. I even got them to take fingerprints but without success.I live on dead end of street,so we almost are always hit by vandals...Let me know if you can get any other involvement...Thanks,Mary

Boy oh boy...nice to know our tax money is paying checks to cops that take care of their own town so well. No wonder Bristol is filled with crimes & drug deals everywhere. The cops are too busy sitting at their desk or in a parking lot with one another. Sad

Anyone else in the Arlington / Henderson area get their cars broken into last night early this morning?
Also, since when did the police no longer come out to take reports? I was told "someone will call you in 5 minutes to take a report over the phone"...and that was 30 minutes ago. Gosh I love our Bristol Cops.

I am on vacation for the next 7 days, and since the kids still have school, and the testing this week and next, I am looking for day trips. Does anyone know where I can pick up one of the Connecticut tourist magazines? I have seen them at big rest stops off the highway. Maybe you even have one your not using that I could borrow/get from you? Or where is the closest rest stop? Thank you for any help.

Lost Dog Rockwell Park Area.. My sisters dog ran away yesterday. She was last seen at Rockwell Park. She is a white German Shepard her name is Emma. Please if you see her let me know. My cell phone number is 860-940-3077. When my sister got her 6 weeks ago she was very underwieght and hadnt been socialized alot with other animals or people. But she is a sweet and very shy dog. We all are very worried as she is not from Bristol but another town. My sister and family ahve already notified the local police and dog warden and her previous owner. Thank You

Does anyone have any ideas what to do with fish that you can't keep anymore? I have posted them for free on many sites, and I can't find anyone to take them. I have to find them a new home asap. Any thoughts? And no I won't flush them, husband already tried that and I flipped. Thanks
